snacking with style.

If I had to choose my favorite food activity, it would have to be snacking. (Except maybe breakfast. This is hard!) I love sampling a variety of things rather than having to choose one big meal item. I’m hosting my book club this week, and since we talk a lot at these gatherings, it is always more fun to have some snacks - or hors d’oeuvres, if you want to get fancy - as we discuss, rather than a meal.

I’ve paired up some easy snack ideas (from those more creative in the kitchen than I) along with some beautiful textiles for your entertaining pleasure. As with everything I do, I always lean towards the visually pleasing version. Have a colorful food? Use a neutral napkin! Enjoying some delicious but bland in color cheese? Whip out a colorful tablecloth! Then, pour everyone a glass of wine and indulge in some great discussion.
