Frankfort Candle Co.

Frankfort Candle Company is a unique candle operation that fills antique and vintage vessels as candles, which can then be repurposed or refilled. Founder Melissa Knieriem began pouring as a pandemic project with and her daughters, and since vintage shopping and antiquing was always one of her favorite hobbies, she felt like the pieces were destined for more. She dove head-first into candles, with the goal to become the destination for the best vintage candle. She wanted customers to connect with the uniqueness of each piece, knowing no two were the same, and see a reflection of themselves and their style in their selection.

After initial success, Melissa knew it was time to have a more focused brand would suit her better. Her website was not serving her well—customers had a hard time finding pieces, it was cluttered and struggling to stay organized. We developed a brand that fit her vintage-inspired aesthetic, with a modern twist. We reorganized the entire site and created easy ways to shop by candle color, scent, and materials. Since the launch, she’s been featured in publications like The Spruce & Motherly, and regularly sells out her candle workshops.
