color spot: mint + poppy
One of the ways I like to challenge myself is in creating new color palettes. It is so easy to get repetitive in my obsession with black and white, so taking those two out of the equation can be a fun experiment.
In this palette, I’m mixing a very soft mint with just a little punch of poppy. With their opposite hues, I’m really loving the contrast as opposed to a more predictable coral or pink in place of poppy. The overall feeling is feminine, but with a touch of sass. It could be perfect for a stationery or invitation project. (Can you tell I am dreaming of being at the National Stationery Show this week?!)
