tuesday taste: baked brie.
In order to be on my list as a favorite food, the item most likely must contain cheese, bread, sweetness, and/or chocolate. This recipe may not be chocolatey, but it absolutely incorporates the other three.
Enter: Baked Brie Crescent. This creation is perfect as an appetizer (or even better as a treat for two). It’s simple, too!
Baked Brie Crescentingredients1 8oz round brie1 package of crescent rolls2 tbsp of your favorite jamMaple syrup
Preheat oven to 350.
Cover a baking sheet with tin foil and spray with nonstick spray. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into two halves, pressing together at the perforations in each half. Place one half onto the baking sheet and place brie on top. Spread jam onto brie (more or less based on your taste!). Place second half of dough on the brie, pressing edges to bottom half to seal. Drizzle maple syrup on top.
Bake for 15-20 min, or until dough is golden. Serve warm.
I like mine a bit less done so the dough is still a little gooey, but for a crisp crescent, leave in a bit longer. This is great when served with apple slices, or simply with a fork.
