Cover.-Language-of-Flowers

This month, my book club is reading The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. This originally came to me via my mom and aunt on high recommendation. The book tells the story of Victoria, a girl who grew up in the foster care system. She knows the Victorian language of flowers, and uses it to express her sorrows. Once she is 18 and out, she lands a job with a florist, perfectly selecting flowers for customers. Her sad past continues to surface, and she must learn to deal with life’s emotions and events. No spoilers here...but wait til you see what happens!

So, do tell: have you read the book? What did you think?
